About the Artist:
As an Air Force veteran, my life has been shaped by discipline, service, and a deep sense of purpose. Through my time in uniform, I learned resilience and focus—but it wasn’t until I discovered art that I found a different kind of connection: one that is quiet, personal, and restorative.\nWorking primarily in watercolor and colored pencil, I use art as a way to slow down and reconnect—with myself, with others, and with the simple beauty found in everyday moments. The fluidity of watercolor and the precision of colored pencil create a balance that mirrors my own journey: structure alongside freedom, control alongside release.\nMy favorite work is creating commissioned pet portraits. Capturing the personality, spirit, and emotional bond people share with their animals is incredibly meaningful to me. Each portrait is more than an image—it’s a tribute to companionship, loyalty, and love.\nArt has become both my refuge and my way of giving back, allowing me to transform moments of calm into lasting, heartfelt pieces for others to cherish.
