Susan Hampton

Susan Hampton is retired from the United States Navy. She currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband, two children and two stepchildren. Susan grew up in a small town in Arkansas and enlisted directly after high school. Art has always been a part of her world. She began drawing at a young age and has very rarely put down her pencil, brush, ink or camera. During her years in the Navy she found comfort in drawing while serving and now it has become therapeutic in dealing with thoughts of her past. The United States Navy will always hold a beautiful place within her heart. “Art has a way of expressing your innermost feelings without a word being spoken, you only need to be willing to comprehend what you see.
