About the Artist:

Richard A Dysard, II is a Native American Marine Veteran Artist born and raised in Newaygo, MI. He is one of a two-man 1371: Combat Engineer team who successfully breached the first minefield belt of Operation Desert Storm, TASK FORCE RIPPER, call sign Vulture Alpha. Vulture Alpha consisted of four men, two engineers and two AAV crew members. Their assault, after detonating 5250 lbs of C-4, contributed to the liberation Kuwait and the defeat of the Iraq Army in 1991. After enlistment he received a B.A.S. in Industrial Technology and Management from Ferris State University. Today, still residing in Michigan, he enjoys charcoal drawing when given the opportunity to express himself.
