About the Artist:
Born 1949, son of a career Marine: MGySgt Edgar L. King who died while in the Corps. Joined the Marines out of High School in 1968 to be a Combat Artist. Ended up being 0844 ART-llery Fire Direction Control. Vietnam Vet. Hq Battery 2/12 was made Operations NCO after a short while in Vietnam at LZ Stud. Employed as Visual Merchandise Manager at Sears for 20 years, A Sign painter for 7, An AutoCAD Civil 3d tech for 9 years and a Pastor for 20 years. Several of these jobs were bi-vocational, that's why the numbers add up so high. Retired, now semi professional Portrait/Landscape Artist.
