About the Artist:
My journey in art began when I was born. I started to create art at a preschematic stage of my development. People, places, and things have influenced my art. It was my mentors that really had an impact on my artistic endeavors. They are: Professor Jeff Nelson, Butte College; Professor Marion Epting, CSUC; Professor Grace Hertlein, CSUC; Professor Roger Coqart, Brussel, Belgium; Dr. Herbert W. Franke, Munich, Germany; I believe I should mention my parents, for without them I would not have been conceived. Finally, my sisters, Michelle and Linda who tolerated me as a brother, influencing me in more ways than one. They guided me with their opinions and critiquing. My philosophy of art, it is a reflection of technology, social implications, and a reflection of your surrounding environment.
