Marine Corps Veteran from the early to late1980s. Now retired from the FAA, blessed with the time and inclination to indulge in many hobbies, including oil painting, which I took up in my 40s. Self taught and trying to not take it too seriously. My favorite subjects are aircraft and ships, and maybe a train or two. . . . and a cat.
