About the Artist:
I am a self taught artist though I am currently going to school for my AFA. After my four years in the Marine Corps I was dealing with a lot of mental health issues and art was my way of bringing back peace and beauty into my life. The mediums I like to work with are acrylics, soft pastels, watercolor and charcoal though I always love experimenting with new mediums. I love painting the night sky, sunrises and sunsets, landscapes and space. I enjoy school because it allows me to experiment with different types of mediums and also gives me the space to try abstract art. I’m on the path to find my style and not sure where I will end up at but I’m enjoying the journey and the healing that art gives me.
