George Anthes

I started off being a photographer capturing moments in time, I was old school, even did a lot of developing in a darkroom. I played around with manipulating many of my photographs using computer graphics. Then around 2008 I started painting rocks lots of rocks, moved to reclaimed wood and now mostly on canvas. Self taught both acrylic and oil paints. I paint whatever moves me at the time, animals, women, sea creatures, landscapes. Mush of what I paint is also 3 dimensional. I paint, it enjoy the creating, I enjoy it when someone smiles about my creations. When I sell my Art almost all the proceeds go to Children and Veteran charities. I created a charity called "Little Brushes" where I connect inner-city kids, art with community, if I can help divert kids away from drugs and gangs, what is the impact on their community, their family?
