About the Artist:
After traveling the world as an “Air Force brat,” Doug developed lifelong passions for nature, medicine, aviation, and art.\nAs a Stanford-trained Radiation Oncologist, Doug helped develop and lead a renowned regional cancer treatment and research program. He also served 24 years in the USAF as a cancer specialist, pilot, flight surgeon, nuclear safety consultant, and hospital administrator. \nAs an artist for over 50 years, Doug’s work tries to meld the beauty of nature with that created by the human hand. He work is in private collections throughout the USA as well as London and Paris.
